Marco's Feng Shui Secrets - Issue 5,     May 2008

Time flies, we are coming to the beginning of Summer. May, June and July are the Summer months. These 3 months, those born in Winter (^8^th November to 3^rd February of the following year) can look forward to a smooth Summer ahead.

I am very concerned for those born in Summer (^6^th May to 7^th August) and Dog month (^8^th October to 7^th November), as this period will be quite challenging for them. If you are born in Summer and reading this newsletter, don’t worry too much. I will be sharing with you how to maximize your good luck during this challenging period.

This month is the Fire Snake Month. It starts on 5^th May, 1148 hrs and ends on 5^th June, 1609 hrs. It is a double Fire month, as Snake also represents Fire.

If you are born in Summer or Dog month, you really must pay close attention to the following section.
 

1. What To Do If Your Luck Is Down This Month
 

If you are a Summer-born person, these 3 months you will find that you have frequent headaches and you are unable to think clearly. For starters, do not make any hasty decisions during this period.

If you need to make important decisions and you are unable to delay, you might want to seek the advice of someone born in Winter.

One more thing to look out… Keep your cool at all times. Do not lose your temper easily. You might end up doing something you regret.

There is no Water this month. You definitely need to increase the effect of Water in your daily activities so that you can enhance your luck.

If you find your luck down, you might want to consider doing the following activities to improve your luck…
 

a. Wear more Blue and Black. Avoid Red, Orange, Purple and Brown.

b. For directions, you should travel more towards North. You should avoid South.

c. Eat more steamed fish, Japanese raw fish, soya bean, bean curd, pork and Vanilla Ice Cream if you can. Avoid spicy food, barbecue food, chocolates and coffee.

d. Visit the beach, aquariums or “Underwater World” more often. Take up swimming and keeping fish as your hobbies if you haven’t done so.

e. Hang around with people born between 8^th November to 4^th February. They are the Winter people.

f. Put a big bowl of Water by your bedside every night before you sleep.

g. Bathe more often and spend more time in your bathroom.

h. Switch on the air-con and spend more time in air-conditioned areas. (I think this is pretty obvious)

i. Drink more Water, especially mineral water from the Western countries.

j. Go for cruises more often. Even a short ride on the boat will do you good.

*Note: The directions listed here should not be confused with the Flying Star Directions listed in the preceding section. The favorable directions listed here should be followed, if your luck is down.
 

2.Wealth & Other Favorable Sectors In Your House/Office For This Month
 

This month, the 8 White Wealth Star is in the North East sector. If you are occupying the North East sector of your home, workplace or bedroom, you can look forward to more money coming in this month.

The North East sector represents the youngest son. If you are the youngest daughter staying with your parents, then this month will be a month of good wealth luck for you.

The other wealth star, the 6 White Wealth Star is in the North West sector. The Father/Husband of the house will have wealth luck this month. I believe this is good news to many people.

Whether you are staying alone or with your family, as long as you are the male owner of the house, you can look forward to good wealth luck this month.

For romance seekers, the romance star, 9 Purple is in the South sector. If you are looking to boost your romance luck, occupy the South sector. This is your month to look for romance if you are the middle daughter, staying with your family.
 

3. Sectors To Avoid For This Month
 

For this month, the 2 Black Sickness Star is in the South West sector. Avoid this sector at all costs, especially if you are the Mother/Wife, or female owner (if you are staying alone) of the house. At the same time, you should also take care of your health if you are the mother/wife/female owner of the house as the sickness star is in your sector. You are apt to fall ill easily.

The good news is that the other unfavorable star, the 5 Yellow Star of misfortunes is in the Middle. When the star is in the middle sector, it will not affect any family member. But remember, you should still avoid the middle sector this month.

Lastly, the star of quarrels and gossips is East sector. If you cannot avoid this sector, use a red carpet or red cloth to reduce the effects of this star.

Next, you will look at the auspicious days and hours of this month.

5. Days To Avoid This Month

6. Bonus Secret - How Does The Air-Con Affect Your Luck
 

Since it is Summer, I think it is quite relevant to share some Feng Shui secrets about the Air-Con.

There are 2 things the air-con can do for you. One, it can enhance your luck if you are born in Spring or Summer. The air-con is an object that represents Metal. If you need Metal, you can enhance your luck by turning on the air-con. 

Two, the air-con can help to activate the various flying stars. For example, this month, the 8 White Wealth Star is the North East sector.

If your air-con is located in the North East sector of your room, when you switch it on this month, you are activating the 8 White Wealth Star.

Of course, it can also work against you. If it is located at the sector of the unfavorable stars and you turn it on, then it will work against you, as you are activating the unfavorable stars.
