5 Ways To Determine If A House Is Haunted

 

It is the 7th month, also known as the Hungry Ghosts Festival among the chinese. It is rumored that the gates of hell open during this month for the ghosts to come to our human realm to enjoy themselves yearly.

Since this is the ghost month, I thought it would be appropriate to share with you how to determine if a house is haunted.

If you don't believe in ghosts or spirits, then you might want to stop reading now. If you have encountered spirits or ghosts in haunted places, you might want to read on.

One day, I received an E-mail from a client, telling me that she suspected that her house was haunted. She wasn't able to explain to me why it was haunted, but rather, she felt that she was not alone.

At first, she didn't want to share her problem with me as she was afraid that I might not believe her. I gave her some solutions and things have since improved for her.

Do you know that Feng Shui is related to haunted places? There are certain feng shui conditions to be met for a place to be haunted. By the time you finish this article, you would know how to determine whether a place is haunted, and what solutions did I give to my client.

Let me move on to the 5 easy ways of determining whether a house is haunted. Anyone can easily do this. Firstly, you can bring a kid below the age of 8 into the house. See if he feels happy in the house. If he starts playing around and feels comfortable, then the house should be fine.

On the other hand, if he starts to cry for no reason, and keeps wanting to leave the house, then the house might be haunted.

Children below the age of 8 are quite sensitive to beings from the other world. They are able to "see things" which we are unable to see. If you can't get a child below the age of 8,then the next method might be helpful to you...

Second way, you might want to bring a black dog to the house. One important thing to note, the dog must be purely black. There mustn't be even a speck of white on it. You might be wondering why black dogs instead of other dogs.

Let me explain...

Black dogs are very sensitive to beings from the other world. My grandma used to keep a pure black dog. This black dog would look into the sky and howl every night during the 7th month. It seemed to be looking at "something" in the air. Surprisingly, it always occurs around 1am in the morning.

Now, if the black dog starts to look into the ceiling and howl in the house, that house is likely to be haunted. If it keeps wagging its tail while in the house, that house should be fine. Best time is to go in the late afternoon, as that is the time those "things" start to become active.

Method three, you can use a feng shui compass if you have one. If the area is haunted, you will see the needle keeps turning. You might have seen it before in chinese horror shows. That is what really happens in the real situation. The reason why the needle keeps turning is because the energy in the area is unstable.

Usually, unstable energy is caused by the presence of spirits from the other world. This is one of the easiest ways to determine if a house is haunted. You may wonder why not use an ordinary compass instead of a feng shui compass.

Let me explain, the needle of the feng shui compass is very fine. It is very sensitive as compared to the needle of the ordinary compass.

I was taking directions at a client's house 5 years ago. After taking directions, he told me that my directions were wrong. I went to take directions 3 times. During those 3 different times at the same spot, I got different results. This means there is some problem with the energy at that spot. It could also mean that that spot is haunted.

Using method four, check the whole house and see if there is any dark and damp spot. By dark, I mean dark even during day time. It may be a room with no windows.

Spirits from the other world like to dwell in dark and damp places. If there is any room in your house which is dark and damp, like my client I mentioned earlier, here are the solutions I offered her...

As that room in her house was dark and damp, I told her to switch on the light in that room permanently. If the light was too dim, she should install more lights. The door should be kept open permanently to keep the room ventilated. Lastly, she should put a round metallic clock in that room.

The round metallic clock serves 2 purposes. One, to eliminate the effects of the 2-Black Illness Star. Two, when spirits see clocks, they become fearful that their time is up. They will start moving back to where they belong.

Besides causing potential illness, the 2-Black Illness star also attracts spirits from the other world, particular female spirits. But for that to happen, that spot must be dark, damp, with the 2-Black star in position.

The final method can only be used by certain people. It depends on whether you have the gift of the third eye. If you are gifted with the third eye, you might be able to "see" them. You might also be able to "feel" them. When you have goose bumps or feel a cold breeze in an enclosed area, that spot might be haunted.
